What are your thoughts on indexed universal life insurance policies tied to a stock market index? Most life insurance policies have very high fees and commissions; however, the ability to withdraw from them tax-free might have some value if taxes will continually increase for the foreseeable future. My wife is also a dentist, and we max our 401(k) salary deferrals and match 4% from the practice to the 401(k). An index life policy would just be adjunct investment. We are both age 33.
